NBA Playoffs Cancelled

  The NBA today announced the unfortunate cancellation of it’s playoffs this Summer.  League Spokesman said “The nation is just not prepared for a long, gruelling playoff schedule during these tough semi-recessionary times.  The spirit of the nation could not stand another Detroit Piston-San Antonio Spurs showdown featuring actual defense.  Maybe next year the high-flying Heat will bring their A-game, but frankly, will America still care?

  In an effort to show consolidation with their fellow faultering sports league that has recently became little more then a niche sport, the NHL has announced the end of their season and will just give the Stanley Cup to the Penguins for the hell of it.
